SEABay (Saltwater Enthusiast Association of the Bay Area) is a nonprofit organization. Created in January, 1995, the club's primary objective is to provide information and instruction in the care and well-being of aquatic marine life including fishes, corals, invertebrates, algae and bacteria. We are made up of hobbyists and professionals all over the Bay Area.

SEABay conducts meetings with key speakers from around the world. Please see our PAST SPEAKERS page for a listing of our past guests. Sometimes we have members that speak on a topic of their expertise.

Membership brings the value of raffles, discounted field trips, auctions, hands-on work shops and a newsletter which is filled with quality content of informative articles.

Our meetings are held on the third Saturday of every alternate month beginning in January. Our meeting site is located at the Bayland Interpretive Nature Center at 2775 Embarcadero Road, Palo Alto, CA. Please see our map for driving instructions.

SEABay is a member of the Western Marine Council which sponsors the Western Marine Conferences. SEABay sponsored the Western Marine Conference in San Francisco on
May 31, 1996 and recently on April 2001 at scenic Monterey Bay.

We are always looking for contributions and talent from other members. Please feel free to contact any of our Board members with your interests.
